The Community

The Mineral Exploration Geophysics Special Interest Community (MEG) is a network of dedicated EAGE members, aiming to bring together professionals, researchers, academia and students with a professional focus on the topic. Participation is open to all.

The group is affiliated to the EAGE Near Surface Geoscience parallel conference series ‘Geophysics for Mineral Exploration & Mining’ and aims to provide a home outside of the conference series. Within the group, community members are encouraged to share relevant news updates, career development, opportunities for collaborative projects and discussions on the latest scientific developments.

Join the Mineral Exploration Geophysics Community to be part of an environment to network, manage events, share technical information and otherwise reach out and communicate on a global basis. You can participate in discussions, circulate news and ideas, and discover all opportunities offered by EAGE, including the possibility of becoming a reviewer, co-chairing technical sessions, participating in the organization of future events on decarbonization and energy transition, and connecting with a worldwide network of members. The network is open to all EAGE members active in these fields or interested in learning more.

2020-2022 Committee

The MEG community is coordinated by a Committee that serves for a period of two years.
